Socket Weld Elbow & Threaded Elbow — Socket Weld Elbow and Threaded Elbow Fitting is a fitting installed between two lengths of pipe or tubing allowing a change of direction, usually 180°, 90° or 45°. Nickel Alloy Elbows are available in short and long radius types. The ends can be machined for screwed or socketed. When the two ends differ in size, it is called a Reducing Elbow or Reducer Elbow. Alloy 20 Cold Forming

Alloy 20 can be readily hot-formed to practically any shape. The recommended temperature range for hot forming is 1200° to 2250°F (650° to 1230°C).

Alloy 20 Hot Forming

Alloy 20 can be worked by all conventional cold-forming methods. Severe work can be done manually only with the assistance of frequent anneals to restore softness.

Alloy 20 Machining

Alloy 20 can be machined satisfactorily at commercial rates provided proper machining practices are carefully followed.

Alloy 20 Pipe Welding

Alloy 20 can be welded by conventional welding, brazing and soldering processes. Good properties are inherent in these joints. Cleanliness and removal of foreign material are important in attaining sound welds.

Alloy 20 Heat Treatment

Alloy 20 is non hardenable by heat treatment.

Material Testing

PMI Testing, Ultrasonic Test, Mechanical Testing, Spectro Tests for Chemical Analysis of the grade, Flaring Test, IGC, etc. are some of the tests conducted at our facility. We welcome stage wise inspection from any of your representative or third party inspection agencies.

Packing and Delivery
