Incoloy 800H is an Nickle based Superalloy. It is a nickel-iron-chromium alloy with high strength and high resistance to oxidation, corrosion and carburization in extreme temperature exposure. High Carbon Incoloy 800H/HT Alloy has higher creep and rupture properties than any other low carbon material. Incoloy 800H/HT is identical to Incoloy 800, except for higher level of carbon in Incoloy 800H and additional percentage of titanium and aluminium in Incoloy 800HT. Incoloy 800H/HT alloy consist of higher level of carbon in the range of 0.05% to 0.10% (which is in the higher limits of that range) and is within ASTM and ASME specifications. Alloy 800H/HT is also known as "Grade 2" of Incoloy 800. Incoloy 800H/HT alloy requires not only a carbon range of 0.05 to 0.10 percentage, but also an average grain size of ASTM 5 or coarser (rough or harsh texture). Incoloy 800HT alloy consist of addition of upto 1.20 percentage of aluminium and titanium. Incoloy 800H/HT exhibits unique property where it will not become embrittled even after long periods of usage and exposure in 1200 to 1600° F temperature range.
