Socket Weld Elbow & Threaded Elbow — Socket Weld Elbow and Threaded Elbow Fitting is a fitting installed between two lengths of pipe or tubing allowing a change of direction, usually 180°, 90° or 45°. Stainless Steel Elbows are available in short and long radius types. The ends can be machined for screwed or socketed. When the two ends differ in size, it is called a Reducing Elbow or Reducer Elbow.

Socket Weld Tee & Threaded Tee — We supply SocketWeld Tee & Threaded Tee for use in industrial applications. Stainless Steel Tees are used to combine or split a fluid flow. The most common Socket Weld and Threaded Tees have the same inlet and outlet sizes.

Socket Weld Cross & Threaded Cross — Crosses are used as junctions in piping systems. Manufactured as per ASME B16.11 BS3799 dimension standards Stainless Steel crosses are available in all size ranges.

Socket Weld Plug & Threaded Plugs — Plugs are similar to Caps in the application. Some forms of Threaded Plugs supplied by us are Square Head plug, Round Head plug and Hex Head plug.

Socket Weld Couplings & Threaded Couplings — Couplings fitting are used to connects two pipes to each other. Reducing Couplings can be used if the material and size of the pipe differ.

Socket Weld Cap & Threaded Caps — Cap are used to seal the end of the pipe to stop the flow of liquid or gas flowing through the pipe. Similar to plugs, Caps are available as Socket Weld Caps and Threaded Caps.

Socket Weld Union & Threaded Union — Unions Fittings are similar to Couplings. Manufactured as per ASME B16.11, ANSI B16.9, BS 3799 Standards. Socket weld Union and Threaded Unions are available in stock.

Threaded Pipe Nipple Fittings — Threaded Nipples are used to connect two ends of fittings. Pipe Nipples are also known as Barrel Nipples.

Properties of 304/304L alloy

304/304L Cold Forming

Type 304/304L is readily formed and fabricated through a full range of cold working operations. It can be used in heading, drawing, bending, and upsetting. Any cold working operations will increase the strength and hardness of the material, and may leave it slightly magnetic.

304/304L Hot Forming

Type 304/304L can be forged in the 1700-2200°F range. For maximum corrosion resistance, forgings should be annealed at 1900°F minimum and water quenched or rapidly cooled by other means after hot working operations.

304/304L Machining

Type 304/304L is a tough austenitic stainless steel subject to work hardening during deformation and, unless modified for improved machining response, is resistant to chip breaking. The best machining results are achieved with slower speeds, heavier feeds, excellent lubrication, sharp tooling, and powerful, rigid equipment.

304/304L Welding

Type 304/304L is readily welded by a full range of conventional welding procedures (except oxyacetylene). AWS E308L/ER308L filler metals should be used with Type 304/304L steel, but the molybdenum-containing austenitic stainless steel filler metals may also be considered.

304/304L Heat Treatment

Annealing: Type 304/304L should be heated to 1900ºF minimum and water quenched or rapidly cooled by other means.
Hardening: Type 304/304L cannot be hardened by heat treatment. However, Type 304/304L can be hardened by cold working.

Documents provided along with the shipment include Certificate of Origin, Material Test Certificate as per EN 10204 3.1 and 10204 3.2, NACE MR10103 and NACE MR0175 certified Test Certificates.

Stainless Steel Fittings and Forgings are manufactured and controlled to international standards such as ASTM, ASME, BS, MSS, EN, DIN or WERKSTOFFE. Our products undergo stringent quality tests before they are dispatched.

Material Testing

PMI Testing, Ultrasonic Test, Mechanical Testing, Spectro Tests for Chemical Analysis of the grade, Flaring Test, IGC, etc. are some of the tests conducted at our facility. We welcome stage wise inspection from any of your representative or third party inspection agencies.

Packing and Delivery

The product is wrapped and packed in wooden crates or carton boxes. Our primary goal is to deliver quality products in time, no matter where the client is located.
